Protectapeel used to protect gritting lorries

The recently developed Protectapeel DP785-2 has been used to provide excellent long term protection to the paintwork of gritting lorries used by Leicestershire County Council. The coating was applied to paintwork and the underside of the trucks at the beginning of the winter season and has resisted oil and corrosive salt for 5 months. Coatings are simply stripped away to reveal a clean surface underneath.

This long term trial has been so successful that the council has awarded the specialist Protectapeel applicators and distributors CSB Environmental Ltd www.csb-enviro.co.uk  the work to coat the whole fleet of vehicles next season. Protectapeel coatings simply peel away at the end of service and can be easily disposed of as non hazardous waste, avoiding the need to use aggressive solvents and cleaning materials which require specialist handling and expensive disposal.

Protectapeel DP785-2 has been developed for tough long term protection on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and is currently in operation on military vehicles on active service worldwide providing an instant change of colour.

Coatings can be clear or in any required corporate colour.
